Ardmore Language Schools (based at Berkshire College of Agriculture) are recruiting a team of Domestic Assistants to join our expanding team as we continue to grow our year round business. Our site at Berkshire College has seen great growth over the past 18 months and we now need a team of dedicated & hard working domestic assistants who are proud of the quality of work they produce, playing a vital role in ensuring our guests have a fantastic experience.
Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Domestic Assistants will be responsible for providing a first-class cleaning service in our accommodation blocks, ensuring the property looks perfect in all areas ready for guest arrivals. They will achieve this by:
* Vacuum, sweep and mop floors
* Prepare & replenish tea & coffee facilities in adult bedrooms
* Clean and stock bathrooms/ toilets
* Clean up spills with appropriate equipment
* Collect and dispose of rubbish
* Replenish linen and make up beds to brand standards
* Arrange bedding wash with external laundry company
* Maintain stock levels of domestic products i.e. cleaning chemicals, toilet roll etc
* Ensure storage of all chemicals complies with statutory requirements
* Ensuring a high attention to detail when cleaning
* Reporting any maintenance issues immediately to the Centre Manager
* Ensure change over plans are checked and rooms prepared prior to arrivals
* Review customer feedback regarding cleanliness & creating an action plan to address complaints

Essential Criteria
* Right to work in the UK
* Consent to enhanced DBS check
* 2+ years cleaning in a residential setting
Desired Criteria
* Full UK drivers license
* Previous experience working in schools or residential camps
* Previous experience working in hotels
* Holds valid COSHH qualification
