Start Date: ASAP
Position: Full-time (long-term cover) – SEN Teaching Assistant
About the Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
* Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom to promote engagement and progress
* Assist with emotional regulation, social development, and behaviour management
* Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children with special educational needs in a school or care setting
* A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent) is desirable
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
