Construction Project Manager – National Food Hall Rollout
Blend Family
Location: UK wide (HQ Sheffield)
Package: Competitive salary + mileage + bonus + progression into senior leadership
Start: Immediate
About Us
Blend Family is one of the fastest-growing food-hall operators in the UK, delivering large-scale, design-led hospitality spaces including Cambridge Street Collective (Sheffield), Cutlers Works, Kargo MKT, and several upcoming landmark sites across the UK.
We are now entering our next phase of expansion with multiple 15,000–40,000 sq ft food halls opening across key cities.
To support this growth, we’re hiring a Construction Project Manager to drive the end-to-end delivery of our national rollout.
The Role
You will oversee the planning, construction, fit-out and handover of Blend’s new food halls across the UK. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role working directly with senior leadership, contractors, designers, joinery workshops, and local authorities.
You will be responsible for ensuring each project lands on time, on budget and on brand, with a strong focus on cost control, programme, quality and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full lifecycle of food hall construction projects (pre-construction → fit-out → handover).
* Manage timelines, budgets, procurement schedules, and contractor performance.
* Coordinate architects, M&E teams, QS, planners, and internal joinery/fit-out teams.
* Oversee landlord works, structural alterations, tech installation, and brand-standard finishes.
* Carry out regular site visits across the UK and report progress directly to senior leadership.
* Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans to avoid delays or cost overruns.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations, H&S, CDM obligations and local authority requirements.
* Manage snagging, commissioning, and operational handover to the venue team.
* Contribute to design improvements and value engineering for future rollouts.
What We’re Looking For
* 4–8 years’ experience in construction or fit-out project management (hospitality or retail advantageous).
* Proven ability to deliver multi-site or large-scale projects on tight programmes.
* Strong understanding of build processes, trades, M&E, and supply chain management.
* Confident communicator able to lead contractors and influence senior stakeholders.
* Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-driven with excellent commercial awareness.
* Comfortable travelling nationwide and working on multiple projects simultaneously.
* Passion for design-led spaces and high-quality execution.
Why Join Blend Family?
* Work on some of the most creative and ambitious food halls in the UK.
* Direct influence on national expansion with clear progression into senior roles.
* Entrepreneurial, fast-moving culture — no corporate red tape.
* Exposure to design, branding, joinery, operations, and strategic development.
* Opportunity to shape how the next generation of food halls are built.
