We are seeking a Support Practitioner to work with adults with a wide range of support needs, providing practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives. This includes keeping safe, pursuing meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Provide individualised, person‑centred support on a 1:1 basis or as part of a team.
* Encourage service users to exercise independence and choice, enabling them to lead the life they want.
* Support access to education, employment, social activities and everyday living skills such as budgeting, personal care and domestic skills.
* Work with families, friends, other health and social work professionals, advocacy services and our staff to maintain and enhance relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
* No previous working experience required; full training will be provided.
* Values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity are essential.
* IT skills are required for all vacancies.
* Successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within six months of start date.
* This position does not require a valid UK driving licence or access to a vehicle.
* Personal care, cooking and housekeeping skills are required.
* Service users will not be involved in this process.
