Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Chelmsford, Essex)
Day/Night shifts available.
£15.20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a young client with complex needs in Chelmsford. The role is a meaningful 1:1 position, enabling the client to live safely and with dignity in their own home.

Clinical Requirements
You will support the client with the specific clinical tasks outlined in their care plan, including:
* PEG feeding
* Tracheostomy care
* Personal care
* Moving and handling
Full specialist training and competency sign-off are provided; you do not need to have every skill listed to apply.
Shifts
* Day shifts – 07:00 to 19:00
* Night shifts – 19:00 to 07:00
Role Responsibilities
* Deliver compassionate 1:1 care in the client’s home
* Support with community access and social activities
* Promote independence and dignity in all tasks
* Provide emotional reassurance and wellbeing support
* Communicate effectively with the clinical, care, and coordination teams
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience supporting people with complex needs
* Confidence with clinical tasks or willingness to train
* Strong communication and reliability
* Empathy, emotional intelligence and person‑centred values
* Ability to work independently and professionally
