Job Vacancy: Recruitment Administrator (NHS Ayrshire and Arran)

Role Overview
Working within the Resourcing team, you will facilitate the recruitment process for all vacancies within NHS Ayrshire and Arran. Your responsibilities include:
1. Administering all aspects of the recruitment process, including placing adverts, conducting pre-employment checks, processing appointment transactions for payroll, and issuing contractual documentation.
2. Providing advice and guidance to managers and staff on terms, conditions, and HR policies to ensure fairness and consistency in employment practices.
Knowledge, Training, and Experience
Applicants should be educated to HNC level or possess equivalent knowledge. Essential skills include:
* Excellent IT skills, particularly with HR systems and software packages.
* A sound understanding of HR policies, procedures, NHS pay, and conditions of service.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with candidates, staff, and managers at all levels.
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment, managing conflicting demands, demonstrating organization and prioritization skills, and working effectively as part of a team.

Hours
* Post 1: 30 hours per week – Monday to Friday, working days negotiable.
* Post 2: 37 hours per week – Monday to Friday.
