Reporting to: Head of Catering
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, occasional evening work required, Term time plus inset Plus 2 weeks
Salary: Grade 8 Scale point 27 - 31 (FTE £37,035 - £40,476) Actual Salary £33,524 - £36,639
We are seeking a talented and experienced Catering Operations Manager to join the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in delivering high-quality nutritious meals across our family of schools.
Working closely with the Trust Head of Catering you will support the implementation of a consistent high-standard catering offer while leading on training, compliance and kitchen operations. You’ll play a key role in supporting and inspiring school-based kitchen teams, overseeing food safety standards and helping to shape a sustainable cost-effective and appealing menu offer.
This is a term-time position and inset days with two additional weeks in the school holidays, which offers excellent work-life balance and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a well-established and supportive multi-academy trust.

5. We are looking for a strong leader with a background in school or commercial catering, excellent organisational skills and a commitment to high standards. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to travel across sites.
