Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: £28,182 - £29,547 per annum (inclusive)
Job Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Service Areas: Surrey Heath & Farnham, with support for neighbouring localities
Requirements: UK Driving Licence, access to a car, willingness to travel, and flexibility to work outside office hours as needed
About the Role
Are you passionate about helping individuals with mental health challenges reintegrate into work? Join us as an IPS Employment Specialist and make a difference in people's lives.
We support individuals with mental health issues to find and retain employment, and advise employers on mental health in the workplace. Your role will involve sourcing work placements, providing career guidance, and developing personal and skills training such as CV writing and interview techniques. You will also foster relationships with local organizations, employers, and partner services like MHICS.
You will be responsible for maintaining efficient administrative systems to handle referrals, assessments, and reviews promptly.
Qualifications and Skills
* Understanding of mental health issues and barriers faced by clients
* Excellent motivational, presentation, and listening skills
* Willingness to travel locally and work outside standard hours
