We have an opportunity available for a Carer Support Worker to join the team working within our Peterborough Carers Support Services.
Our Carers Support Service provides dedicated support, advice and information for carers over the age of 18. The team offers emotional support, groups and activities ensuring carers feel recognised and valued.
Weekly Hours: 35 hour contact and 30 hour contract available

In the role of Carer Support Worker you will need to be passionate about empowering and helping carers with a range of matters on a one -to one basis.
In this role you will provide values based support, advice and information to carers ensuring they have access to practical and emotional support.
You will also facilitate peer support groups and deliver/arrange training for carers. In this role you will have a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of carers and their loved ones.
Candidates must have a NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards.
Previous experenice of working with unpaid carers is essential for this role.
