Who You Are You are a committed and experienced Social Worker with significant post-qualifying experience in children's services. You have a professional qualification in Social Work and are registered with Social Work England. Your experience includes working with children and families, particularly in safeguarding and assessing their social, emotional, and environmental needs. You are adept at working autonomously towards achieving excellent outcomes, and your strong communication and interpersonal skills allow you to relate effectively to a diverse range of people. What the Job Involves In this role, you are responsible for undertaking complex assessments of children and families to determine levels of risk and need. Your primary aim is to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in Worcestershire. You will produce clear, outcome-focused reports and care plans, ensuring children’s welfare is a priority through timely safeguarding decisions. You will also build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies, attend multi-agency meetings, and participate in court proceedings when necessary. Additionally, you will contribute to service development and continuous improvement activities.
