Senior Civil Engineer – Leeds
Leeds (Hybrid – 2/3 days office) £50,000 – £60,000 Benefits Flexible Working Confidential, design-focused engineering consultancy
The Role
* Lead and manage multiple civil design projects from feasibility to completion.
* Deliver drainage, infrastructure, and public realm design to industry standards.
* Mentor junior engineers and technicians, supporting their professional development.
* Liaise directly with clients, local authorities, and design teams to ensure successful project delivery.
* Oversee project quality, resourcing, and profitability.
* Contribute to proposals, bids, and technical reports.
About You
* A degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
* Proven experience in development infrastructure design.
* Knowledge of Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, or Causeway Flow.
* Experience delivering sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and flood risk assessments.
* Strong communication and client-facing skills.
* Chartered or progressing toward ICE / CIWEM / IStructE status.
* A collaborative, solution-focused mindset and genuine enthusiasm for sustainable design.
