About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Fire Door Technician with a core trade in carpentry and knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards to join our team of talented people.
This role is based in the Newquay/Penzance/Redruth area.
Purpose Of The Role
* You will provide high-quality installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire doors throughout our portfolio.
* You will be part of our out-of-hours service, ensuring the safety of our customers at all times.
* You will act as an ambassador for LiveWest.

This role is full-time, permanent, working 40 hours per week.

About The Candidate
To succeed as a Carpenter – Fire Door Installer, you should have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role (see candidate info pack) and the following specific skills:
* Experience fitting fire doors and sets, including upgrades and repairs.
* Competence in using and updating a smartphone or tablet with relevant apps.
* Good multi-skilled trade abilities.
* Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery qualification.
* Desirable: Fire door level 2 install assessment.
* Desirable: Fire door Level 3 inspection.
* Desirable: Experience working in customers’ homes.
