We are working with a large manufacturing business that operates 24/7 and is actively seeking to add qualified Electricians to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.
Shift Electrician (Maintenance Electrical Engineer)
You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining all production-related equipment, including fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement projects, ordering spares, and reviewing/checking designs and drawings on installation projects.
To be successful, we would like you to have:
* A recognised industrial Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition).
* Experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience in the print, packaging, or related industries is a plus but not essential.
* Experience with maintenance programmes.
* Ideally, experience working in a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer.
* Good communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
* Self-motivation, initiative, and determination.
Specific training will be provided as needed, including OEM supplier training and remote modem diagnostic support from OEMs.
