Bennett and Game are delighted to represent a well-established, employee-owned multidisciplinary practice seeking an ambitious Urban Designer to join their growing team in either their Bristol or Cardiff office. Our client has a team of 29 professionals, with 18 based in Cardiff and 11 in Bristol, working collaboratively across planning, urban design, and landscape architecture. They specialise in a variety of sectors, including Residential, Education, Heritage, and Commercial.
As part of the team, the successful Urban Designer will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects. This practice is seeking an Urban Designer that has excellent design and 3D Design skills as well as good presentation skills. Our client takes pride in delivering high-quality work that makes a meaningful impact, and they are seeking an individual with a strong eye for detail.

Urban Designer Job Overview
* Produce urban design concepts supported by well-considered design rationales
* Considering technical constraints
* Producing detailed Masterplan drawings
* Speaking to clients and other planning professionals.
Urban Designer Job Requirements
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Degree Qualified in Urban Design, Planning, Architecture or Landscape Architect
* 3+ years post qualification experience
* Excellent technical ability
* Ability to commute to either the Cardiff or Bristol office
* Experience using Vectorworks; Highly Advantageous
* Have a design focus to your role, and with it a portfolio demonstrating design flair from experience within Practice
* Worked on master planning / regeneration projects
Urban Designer Salary & Benefits
* Competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £48,000, depending on experience.
