We are seeking KS3/4 Tutors to provide tuition for students aged 11-16 in English, Maths, or Science in Goole and surrounding areas. We value tutors who go the extra mile to inspire and support students, helping them unlock their academic potential.
The pay rate is £25-30 per hour. Applicants are preferred to hold a full UK driving license, as some students may require home or local library tutoring.
Requirements for the role:
* A strong grasp of the English language to effectively communicate with students.
* A desire to motivate and encourage students.
* An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one via TP-Tutors (support available).
* Experience working with children or young people with SEND, SEMH, or other additional needs.
* UK teaching experience is desirable.
* Classroom or 1-1 teaching experience, along with up-to-date safeguarding training.
* Good understanding of the English, Maths, or Science curriculum and exam boards.
* Professional references from your two most recent employers covering 24 months within a 10-year career span.

Pay rates include statutory holiday pay of 12.07%. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent roles later.
