2. Your New Role
As a Preconstruction Estimator, you will play a key role in the early stages of project development, supporting themercial and technical teams with accurate cost planning and feasibility assessments. Drawing on your Quantity Surveying background, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Preparing detailed cost estimates for new build social housing schemes
2. Supporting land acquisition and bid submissions with robust financial analysis
3. Liaising with design, planning, andmercial teams to ensure cost-effective solutions
4. Identifying risks and opportunities during pre-construction phases
5. Contributing to value engineering and procurement strategies

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
6. A solid background in Quantity Surveying, ideally within residential or social housing
7. Strong analytical andmercial acumen
8. Experience in pre-construction or estimating roles
9. Excellentmunication and stakeholder engagement skills
10. A proactive approach and ability to work independently and collaboratively
