About The Role
As Deputy Hospital Director, creating an environment that is caring, supportive and safe for patients and staff will be your number one priority. It is a leadership role that involves providing clinical leadership across the hospital, ensuring compliance with regulations and legislation, and delivering against quality key performance indicators.
About You
The Deputy Hospital Director role requires management experience, RMN status and natural leadership skills. You will ensure each patient’s, sometimes complex, care needs are met by the team, balance budgets, develop strategies, and always find time for the people in your care.
This is a demanding but rewarding role at Barchester. In addition to occasional weekend, bank holiday and out‑of‑hours work, the role may require participation in an on‑call rota. Day‑to‑day, you will make a meaningful difference to the lives of patients with complex mental health needs and to team members who wish to develop their careers.
