Teaching Personnel are currently seeking passionate and experienced Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistants to support a range of fantastic primary schools across High Wycombe. About the Role:
We are looking for nurturing, motivated practitioners who can support children within Nursery and Reception settings, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically through purposeful play and high-quality early years education.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through engaging, age-appropriate activities
* Working 1:1 and in groups to support early learning and development
* Assisting with classroom preparation, observations and child-led learning
* Promoting an inclusive, safe and stimulating learning environment
* Supporting children with additional needs and liaising with SEN staff
* Working collaboratively with teachers, parents and the wider school team
Ideal Candidate:
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* A Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
* Experience in an EYFS setting—either Nursery or Reception
* A warm, patient and proactive approach with a genuine passion for early years
* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early development milestones
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude
