The Scarborough, Hull and York Pathology Service (SHYPS) is seeking 3 enthusiastic and hard‑working Medical Laboratory Assistants to work in our busy, friendly Cellular Pathology laboratory at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Based in Hull, your role will be to carry out a wide variety of laboratory‑based tasks, including equipment maintenance, reagent management, data inputting and supporting qualified Biomedical Scientists.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to clinical, scientific and technical staff in the Cellular Pathology Department.
* Perform basic laboratory procedures: receiving samples, maintaining equipment, reagent and stock management, and use of the laboratory computer system.
* Work as a team member, liaising with colleagues and managers.
