Description
* Plan, perform, and complete audit assignments in line with relevant standards.
* Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance.
* Communicate effectively with clients to address queries and provide audit findings.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
* Identify and resolve audit-related issues during engagements.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit regulations and accounting practices.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met efficiently.
* Assist in the development of audit strategies and methodologies.
Profile
A successful Audit Senior should have:
* Fully qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA.
* Experience auditing an SME client base (up to £50m t/o).
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* A proactive approach to managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
* The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
