Canterbury Breastcare (CBC) is a leading multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases. Your work day will include:
* Performing a wide range of mammography procedures and applying professional knowledge in selecting and adapting methods best suited with a high level of independence.
* Providing technical advice to both radiologists and staff to ensure an effective outcome for the patient.
* Taking an active part in the Quality Assurance programme.
* Contributing to the review, development and maintenance of procedural manuals.
* Working with imaging teams to maintain and develop new techniques and procedures.
* Assisting with the training programs for mammographers.

Ideally you will have a postgraduate certificate in Mammography, or consideration will also be given to candidates with a genuine interest in mammography who would be mentored and supported to obtain the post‑graduate mammography qualification.
Please note, appointment to this position will be conditional on a satisfactory Police vetting and risk assessment as per the Children’s Act 2014.
