Office Manager – Trevone House, Gloucestershire

Salary: £27,192 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (9am–5:30pm, with flexibility)

Location: Trevone House, Gloucestershire

Reports to: Service Director

Direct Reports: 2

Homes2Inspire, part of the Shaw Trust Group, is seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to join our team at Trevone House —Gloucestershire County Council's flagship semi-independent accommodation for care leavers aged 16–25.

About the Role

As Office Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of Trevone House. You'll manage reception operations, support the Service Director and senior leadership team, and help create a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for young people. You'll also oversee administrative systems, coordinate meetings and events, and maintain key relationships with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the reception diary and ensure efficient visitor coordination.

Oversee staff rosters and support recruitment and training processes.

Provide exceptional customer service to staff, young people, and visitors.

Monitor CCTV and ensure security systems are fit for purpose.

Liaise with maintenance staff and ensure readiness of flats for transitions.

Produce accurate reports and manage petty cash systems.

Minute meetings, coordinate diaries, and organise travel arrangements.

Uphold GDPR, safeguarding, and health & safety standards.

What We're Looking For

Supervisory experience (team leadership desirable).

Strong administrative background, ideally in a multi-agency setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Organised, resilient, and solution-focused.

Passionate about supporting young people and committed to safeguarding.

Qualifications & Requirements

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).

Full UK Driving Licence.

Enhanced DBS and Right to Work checks will be required.
