New Job Alert !Purchase Ledger Clerk£30000 per annumOffice based.25 days holiday + 8 bank holidaysFree Parking on siteAdaptable Recruitment are working with an established business in South Liverpool who is looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis to cover a period of sickness.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volumes of supplier invoices, including matching, batching and codingReconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queriesPreparing and processing supplier payment runsMaintaining accurate purchase ledger records in line with company proceduresHandling supplier and internal payment queries professionally and promptlyAssisting with month?end close activities relating to the purchase ledgerEnsuring compliance with internal controls and financial policiesSupporting the wider finance team with ad?hoc duties as requiredSkills & Experience RequiredProven experience in a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable roleStrong attention to detail and high levels of accuracyExperience using accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, SAP, Oracle, or similar)Confident user of Microsoft ExcelAbility to manage workload and meet deadlines in a fast?paced environmentExcellent communication and organisational skillsTPBN1_UKTJ
