Our Maintenance Supervisor role: We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to support the day-to-day maintenance and safe operation of our property, machinery, and services. Reporting to our Maintenance Manager, you’ll ensure health and safety standards are met, oversee maintenance tasks, and coordinate the team in the Manager’s absence. You’ll liaise with contractors, complete scheduled checks and water tests, manage logs and ordering, and take ownership of the efficient running of machinery, services, and facilities across our site. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. As our Maintenance Supervisor you’ll be: Welcoming our guests and team alike. Liaising with our Maintenance Manager, working to maintain the site to a high standard. Overseeing the running of the Maintenance team and tasks when our Maintenance Manager is away. Compliant with all Health and Safety company policies and procedures. Wearing the correct uniform, PPE and safety equipment (as needed). Undertaking any reasonable requests made by management. Conducting monthly/weekly scheduled checks of the building. Conducting water tests and maintaining our swimming pool water to required standard. Performing tasks as requested on the maintenance log. Bringing any relevant concerns to our Maintenance Manager’s attention. Ensuring that requests in the maintenance log are completed. Ordering any necessary materials when required. Ensuring that our shed, garage and electrical stores are kept clean and organised. Taking water, gas and electricity readings and recordings accurately. Aware of current maintenance contacts in place with relevant companies. Familiar with the layout of the site, working with the correct area equipment. Attending given training provided by the company. Ensuring supervised staff work according to company policy and the prevailing law, whilst wearing the correct uniform. Proactive in helping and demonstrating our shared responsibility to care for our team and planet. Coordinating Maintenance team and tasks alongside the operations of our Group Facilities Manager. Demonstrating a good understanding of our sustainability and purchasing polices. Ensuring you have a solid understanding of why we are working towards a B Corp accreditation. The skills you’ll be sharing with us: Ability to diagnose and repair day-to-day mechanical and practical problems, making necessary repairs Excellent skills in property maintenance such as redecoration, electrics, basic plumbing and tiling Knowledge of swimming pool testing and dosing The ability to safely work at heights Computer literacy with Microsoft Office software Experience working within the building/maintenance industry (preferred) A can-do attitude whilst remaining calm under pressure A full, clean driving licence Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation Additional experience you’ll have: Previous supervisory experience (desirable). First Aid qualification Ability to delegate and lead our Maintenance team Excellent verbal and written communication Numerical skills in measuring and calculating Good leadership and team motivation skills Experience within a guest or customer service environment (desirable).
