Salary:Circa £37,000 depending onskills and experience
Whatyou’ll be doing:
* You willbe utilising CAD systems to produce detailed weightestimations
Be responsible forundertaking submarine unitsurveys Undertaking physical weightson supplier sites
* You willbe managing and supervising weights events at our Barrow-in-Furnesssite
Managing data collationduring ballastinstallations
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Hold a degree in aTechnology based discipline Have good experience usingMicrosoft Excel to handle large data sets
Desirable:
* Haveexperience using VBA and Python for dataanalysis
Preferable experience ofworking with or around data visualisation Experience using complexmechanical or electronical systems

TheWeight Engineering team: The Weight Engineering Team are a multi-disciplinaryTeam of Engineers and Data Scientists who estimate, collate andpresent mass properties data for a number of multi-billion-poundsubmarine programmes. Together, they are a specialist team thatplay a critical role in the whole boat design and assuring wholeboat safety.
