Location United Kingdom Warwickshire Warwick Company Siemens Energy Limited Organization Gas Services Business Unit Distributed Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Not defined Role - AGT Services - Regional Parts Applications Engineer (RME/UK) Location - Warwick A Snapshot of Your Day The AGT (Aero Derivative Gas Turbines) Services Parts Application Engineer role is accountable for developing a regional parts sales strategy and driving parts sales to meet business targets in the RME and UK regions. The candidate will support the regional Sales teams by identifying and developing parts opportunities and proposals, and will work directly with customers to develop parts programs to support operation and maintenance of their equipment. The role will involve support of customer meetings which entails travel within the region. How You'll Make an Impact
1. Provide in-region technical and sales support to Sales Managers. Pursue parts sales and develop sales strategies to win orders.
2. Define parts kits to operators.
3. Support region in identifying new opportunities to sell parts
4. Lead on-site customer conferences, planning maintenance and major parts projects, with support of regional sales team.
5. Define spare parts priorities of regional sales and AGT Services (Customer Order Administrators, Parts Definers, Buyers)
6. Drive internal support from engineering, purchasing, supply chain, and COAs to generate customer parts quotes, technical information, and implement projects.
7. Prepare appropriate project cost, pricing and margin analysis, project and business risk analysis, bid approval documentation.
8. Provide committing quotations (including pricing, lead-times, commercial conditions)
9. Assignments will cover a wide variety of equipment including power turbines, gas turbine, combustion air filters, lubrication systems, etc. Strong technical background, experience with maintenance, and sound commercial capabilities would be preferred

11. Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 7+ years of experience in an engineering role or Master’s Degree preferably MBA and 5+ years of experience in an engineering role
12. In lieu of degree, 15+ years of experience in engineering / installation commissioning / field support / Customer service / Sales
13. Experience in managing projects
14. Experience in customer facing roles
15. Travel - at least 25%
16. Ability to travel internationally
17. Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers at all organisational levels.
18. BS Degree in Engineering preferred, increased experience in lieu of degree is acceptable
19. MBA or technical sales experience a plus
20. Previous management experience in a technical sales environment a plus
