In this role, you’ll be responsible for the sourcing, evaluation and oversight of private market investments across private equity, credit, real assets and infrastructure. You’ll play a key part in shaping our portfolio strategy, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with our risk, return and liquidity objectives.

What you’ll be doing:
* Source, evaluate and recommend private market and diversified liquid alternative fund investments across sectors and geographies
* Be responsible for a portfolio of private market holdings, including performance analysis, GP engagement and valuation reviews
* Integrate private market strategies into a broader multi-asset framework, considering risk, liquidity and execution timing
* Collaborate with internal teams including Risk, Legal, Operations and Responsible Investing to ensure cohesive portfolio alignment
* Prepare and present investment recommendations to committees and senior stakeholders with transparency and confidence
* Identify and implement operational improvements, driving innovation and automation across the team

What you’ll need:
* Extensive experience in private market investments and portfolio construction, including diversified alternative strategies.
* Solid understanding of workplace DC pensions, Advice, and D2C channels—products, asset classes, structures, and key players.
* Confirmed ability to collaborate across stakeholders in fast-paced, complex environments to deliver tangible outcomes.
* Proactive, curious, and action orientated approach with excellent multitasking and continuous improvement focus.
* Highly analytical and diligent, with strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in portfolio analytics tools.
