Who you'll be supporting & the role
* We are a multi-member team with varied ages. Most of us are not mobile but require some physical assistance to get around our house and out and about; one of us can walk around the home.
* We have different challenges including visual and hearing impairment, and learning disabilities. Our staff are trained and familiar with supporting someone with similar needs.
* Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making the biggest impact on their lives.
* There is always at least 3 colleagues on shift.
Responsibilities
* Provide daily support in the home and community to help people live their best life possible.
* Assist with daily living activities, mobility support, and accompanying individuals to activities and appointments.
* Support to manage home tasks and routines; monitor wellbeing and respond to needs in a respectful, patient and compassionate manner.
* Look after the person you support and any pets (e.g., ensuring the cat has food and water).
* Encourage engagement in a variety of activities in the home and community to support wellbeing.

* Willingness to work shifts: mornings 9am-3pm, afternoons 3pm-9pm, nights 9pm-9am (two staff on duty overnight).
* DBS/PVG check will be paid by us.
