Your New Role…

Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager UK & Ireland, you will support the planning and delivery of external communications strategies, campaigns and events that elevate Warner Bros. Discovery’s profile across the UK & Ireland. This role plays a key part in shaping the organisation’s external presence following the merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery Inc., helping promote key messages, initiatives and business priorities.

Your Role Accountabilities

1. Support the delivery of external communications strategies, campaigns and events across UK & Ireland.

2. Assist with drafting communication tools, briefing documents and press materials.

3. Coordinate campaign launches and event logistics.

4. Support day‑to‑day operations of the UK corporate press office, including media monitoring and timely handling of requests.

5. Maintain press office distribution lists and track media moves to inform engagement plans.

6. Build and maintain relationships with key external partners, including affiliates, advertisers, retailers, production community and industry bodies.

7. Support coordination across UK communications teams, attending briefings and maintaining activity trackers.

8. Assist in delivering DEI & CSR communications programmes.

9. Support internal communications by ensuring timely information flow and assisting with internal briefings and events.

Qualifications and Experience

10. Proven experience in corporate communications, PR or media relations.

11. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and engaging materials.

12. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

13. Familiarity with media monitoring tools and press office processes.

14. Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.

15. Interest in the media, entertainment and broadcasting landscape.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
