Lecturer A Carpentry & Joinery
Bolton College – Carpentry & Joinery provision.
In this role you will deliver high‑quality teaching and learning, support curriculum development, and contribute to quality assurance and departmental targets.
Salary: £31,200 to £34,715 per annum. Market Forces may apply up to £43,656 + a £2,500 Golden Hello Payment (Terms and Conditions apply).
Hours: 37 hours per week.
Qualifications
* Qualified to Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery.
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent).
* Level 2 Maths and English qualifications.
* Experience in the delivery of Carpentry & Joinery programmes.
* Experience of assessing students at Levels 2 & 3 in Carpentry & Joinery.
* Knowledge of the apprenticeship standards and experience in preparing Carpentry apprentices for end‑point assessment.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
* Support the Head of Department on curriculum and course development.
* Take part in and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
* Develop resources, support teaching programmes, and deliver on a number of courses as required.
* Support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates.
* Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
