Offer description

Cherry Professional is currently recruiting for a well-established business close to Derby City Centre. We require a Payroll Assistant covering full-time hours, office-based. This is a great opportunity to develop your existing payroll skills within a small team environment, responsible for the end-to-end process.

Responsibilities:

1. Processing weekly and monthly paid staff
2. Inputting timesheets
3. Manual calculations
4. Managing pension contributions and deductions
5. Generating new starter information
6. Producing payslips, P45s, etc.
7. Handling queries
8. General HR administration duties

Ideal Candidate:

* Previous payroll experience
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* IT literate with good knowledge of Sage
* Team player
* Ability to meet deadlines
