Dover Christ Church Academy is seeking an ambitious and expert practitioner in Maths to join our leadership team as the Key Stage 4 Director of Outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our students—particularly those facing the greatest challenges—achieve excellence in their GCSEs and beyond.
This is a high-impact leadership position focused on securing ambitious standards and rapid improvement in pupil outcomes across Key Stage 4. You will work closely with the Head of School and Director of Secondary to shape a powerful core curriculum and instill a culture of high accountability and excellence.
The ideal candidate will…
1. Provide the vision and leadership necessary to improve attainment and progress in core subjects at KS4.
2. Support and challenge Senior Leaders and Vice Principals to optimize strategies for raising achievement, particularly for vulnerable, SEND, and disadvantaged pupils.
3. Maintain a teaching load, acting as a role model for "expert" teaching and demonstrating how to engage and succeed with the most challenging pupils.
4. Evaluate the standard of teaching and lead bespoke CPD and coaching for core leaders to ensure every child thrives.
5. Have a proven track record of excellent teaching and deep knowledge of how pupils learn best.
6. An innovative strategist who is prepared to think creatively and take calculated risks to improve standards.
7. A deep commitment to the regeneration of Dover and the coastal community through exceptional non-selective education.
8. Highly organised, professional, and capable of building strong relationships with all stakeholders.
