Industry Placement Coach (Part-Time) – Filton Campus
Reference: REQ001322. Location: Filton Campus. Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time. Working Hours: 16 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (10am – 2pm, 4 days per week; days required by the department are Tuesday and/or Wednesday).
FTE Salary: up to £26,970.00 (salary is dependent on qualifications and experience). Actual Salary: up to £10,380.42.
Term-Time Only Contracts will incur a salary adjustment if the start date is after 1st September.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As an Industry Placement Coach, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our learners by:
* Championing the benefits of work placements to students and employers
* Supporting learners 1:1 and in group settings to prepare for and succeed in their placements
* Visiting students on-site and maintaining strong communication with employers
* Collaborating with curriculum teams to monitor and enhance learner performance
* Ensuring employer sites meet health & safety standards
* Tracking progress and providing meaningful feedback
* Building and nurturing long-term employer partnerships
* Keeping accurate and up-to-date records to support learner success

* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
* A natural relationship-builder who can mediate and motivate
* Strong IT skills and the ability to travel independently
* A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
