Uniformed Loss Prevention Security Officer

As a result of our expansion plans and ongoing success, we are seeking a Uniformed Loss Prevention Security Officer.
Job Purpose:
This role involves working within the Loss Prevention department as a Uniformed Loss Prevention Security Officer. You will be deployed to our high-risk stores to identify, deter, disrupt, and apprehend offenders for theft, maintaining professionalism in conflict situations. Your work is crucial in the identification, apprehension, and prosecution of criminals targeting our stores.
You will also support your Security Team Leader by providing training and development to retail colleagues in Loss Prevention activities and department objectives.
Accountabilities:
1. Deployed to high-risk stores to identify, deter, disrupt, and apprehend theft offenders.
2. Utilize CCTV at a monitoring station.
3. Generate detailed incident reports and collate evidence to support criminal prosecutions.
4. Act as Loss Prevention Champion for the store, conducting communication briefings and training.
5. Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
6. Serve as a subject matter expert for security initiatives.
7. Always adhere to company policies and guidelines.

Salary, Hours, and Requirements:
* Competitive salary
* Full-time permanent contract, 44 hours per week
* Must be fully flexible, working 5 days out of 7, with various shift patterns
* Must be able to stand for long periods
