Key Responsibilities:
Operate Shunter and Forklift as required according to SOPs, ensuring that all trailers
are moved to the correct area and working as per procedures
Ensure factory perimeters and external areas are maintained in an orderly and tidy
manner at all times
Ensure all non-food deliveries correspond with appropriate paperwork
Carry out all vehicular activities in a manner which complies with site Health and
Safety requirements
Ensure CAT 1 and CAT 3 materials are disposed of correctly and that appropriate
paperwork is correctly completed and retained
Prepare trailers for production use in compliance with organisation operating
procedures
Load and unload lorries, ensuring goods are checked in accordance with
organisational operating procedures
Monitor bone-exit conveyor and ensure trailer is moved as required to prevent
disruption to production or spillage of waste material
Responsible for ensuring all maturation trailers are cleaned and working correctly
Knowledge and Skills:
The ideal candidate will hold the appropriate vehicle licences and take
responsibility for maintaining the licenses.
The individual must have the ability to multitask and to communicate with all
levels of site staff

After probation £14.50 per hour.
