Complex Needs Teacher needed for an SEN School
TLTP are recruiting for an SEN Teacher to teach students with learning difficulties in a specialist school in Hounslow.
This will involve teaching entry level/functional skills level 1 & level 2 and low-level learners across 2 sites.
This specialist school caters for students aged 4-19 with complex needs, including MLD/SLD/PMLD, ASD, and/or additional needs. Located in Middlesex, it is a school dedicated to a range of SEN needs.
To apply, you will need to have QTS and some SEN experience ideally:
* The teacher will be responsible for the progress of all pupils in their specialism.
* The teacher will coordinate the work of a team of SEN TAs and provide direct teaching to meet the needs of the class groups and pupils.
* Adopt a holistic approach to pupils, utilizing a wide range of social care and teaching strategies to meet their needs while promoting interest, safety, and well-being.
* Deliver pupil-focused and creative lessons according to the timetable.
* Provide opportunities for pupils to experience and understand English in various contexts.
Teachers must have:
* Commitment to the development of both yourself and your pupils.
* QTS qualification.
* Ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience of leading in your subject area with clear strategies to achieve exceptional student progress.
* Ambition to ensure pupils fulfill their potential with high expectations.
* A calm demeanor and a good sense of humor under pressure.
* Understanding and commitment to safeguarding children.
