Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Salary:
£90 - £115 per day
Job Duties:
* Support children with special educational needs in their learning and development.
* Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons.
* Provide one-to-one support to students with specific learning difficulties, including Autism.
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external professionals to support students' progress.
Required Qualifications:
* GCSEs in English and Maths.
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Experience working with children with special educational needs.
Education:
Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
Experience:
Previous experience working with special needs children.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of special educational needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience and empathy when working with children.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
* First Aid certification.
* Safeguarding training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
