About the role
An ambitious, well-backed organisation in the sport sector is growing and investing in the tech that keeps matchdays, operations and commercial activity running. This is a hands-on IT Manager role where you’ll own day-to-day IT and own practical improvements across the company
You’ll get variety, real responsibility and visibility from day one.
Key responsibilities
* Own day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure and core systems
* Provide on-site IT support for matchdays and key events
* Lead upgrades, modernisation and automation projects
* Ensure systems are secure, resilient and scalable for a growing organisation
* Manage third-party suppliers and external partners
* Be the primary technical contact for non-technical stakeholders
What we’re looking for
* An interest in Growing IT skills within a sports environment
* 3+ years’ hands-on experience across IT operations and infrastructure
* Broad practical knowledge (networks, cloud services, hardware, core apps)
* Comfortable working independently and making decisions
* Clear communicator who can explain tech to non-technical people
* Calm under pressure and happy working in fast, time-sensitive environments
* Sport experience or interest is a bonus but not essential
