General Manager – Award Winning Food Pub with Rooms, Relocate to Isle of Man – £60,000
TipTopJob is looking for a General Manager to lead a long‑established, award‑winning pub and restaurant with rooms in the Isle of Man. This role involves managing the restaurant, vibrant bar and an excellent team in a high‑end environment. The position offers a competitive salary of £60,000 per year and requires relocation to the Isle of Man.
With heavy investment planned, the successful candidate will help raise the standard of service and push the operation to the next level.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of chefs de rang, sommeliers, wait staff and other kitchen and bar staff.
* Maintain the highest service standards and uphold the pub’s reputation for excellent hospitality.
* Oversee day‑to‑day operational performance, ensuring smooth service and efficient workflow.
* Develop and implement staff training and development plans to enhance performance.
* Maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues and partners while presenting a professional image.
Candidate Requirements
* Extensive knowledge of restaurant and pub management.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and drive a team.
* Excellent communication, organization and decision‑making skills.
* Experience operating within a large, upscale hospitality setting where service excellence is paramount.
* Proactive, charismatic personality with confidence in delivering outstanding service.
