Overview
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a special educational needs (SEN) school in Northolt for a ASD school. This is a full-time, long-term role with pay in line with the teacher pay scale. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Position Details
* Location: Northolt
* Contract: Full-time (Monday - Friday)
* Duration: Long-term
* Start Date: Immediate or September start
* Salary: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)
* School Type: SEN school, supporting students with a range of learning difficulties
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of SEN students
* Creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
* Implementing effective behaviour management strategies
* Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external professionals
* Monitoring and assessing student progress, adapting teaching methods accordingly
* Supporting students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* Experience working in an SEN setting or supporting students with additional needs
* Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
* A patient, adaptable, and resilient approach to teaching
* An Enhanced DBS Certificate (registered on the update service or willing to obtain one)
