We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Graphic Designer with experience in creating technical graphics to join our Marketing team. This role combines creative direction with technical precision, focusing on producing high-quality visual content that supports brand identity, product communication, and user experience across multiple platforms. A key responsibility of the role is to lead the design process and ensure clarity and accuracy of technical visuals. This role can be based in either our Belfast or Linlithgow office. Key Responsibilities Provide creative direction and guidance on graphical and written communication, with a focus on technical accuracy. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources in collaboration with Campaign Managers. Work with Corporate Marketing to develop and maintain brand guidelines and design templates. Lead the entire design process from concept to completion, ensuring technical precision in all outputs. Collaborate with Campaign Managers and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions. Develop and implement technical illustrations, diagrams, infographics, and other visual assets that enhance brand identity and user understanding. Act as Brand Identity Guardian, ensuring adherence to brand and design standards. Ensure quality and consistency across all design outputs, especially those with technical content. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective production of design materials. Manage feedback loops and ensure stakeholder satisfaction with final deliverables. Identify and implement new trends and best practices in technical graphic design and production. Serve as the team champion for graphics software and tools, including technical illustration platforms. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio of technical graphics and illustrations. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PremierPro. Strong understanding of visual communication principles, especially for technical and complex subjects. Ability to interpret and visualize technical data, product specifications, and engineering concepts. Experience working in B2B, technology, or engineering-focused environments. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Technical Illustration, Visual Communication, or a related field. Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and web-based graphics. Experience with motion graphics and 3D modelling is a plus. Knowledge of accessibility standards in visual design.
