Join our Children's Therapies team as a Therapy Support Worker at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, working with children and young people (age 0-19 years) and their families. Children's therapies includes Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Dietetics: at least half of the role is working within children's physiotherapy.
You will support our Children's Therapies Service across inpatient, outpatient and community settings-including Woodfield Child Development Physiotherapy Service. Working under the guidance of qualified therapists, you will help deliver high-quality therapy, including hydrotherapy, in a variety of environments such as children's wards and intensive care, outpatient clinics, special and mainstream schools, nurseries, and homes in North RBKC and Westminster.
You will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the service. This is a unique opportunity to join a collaborative team, with training and supervision to support you to deliver therapy with children, either working one-on-one or in small groups.
Assist, support and work under the direction of a qualified therapist.
• Manage own caseload of patients, with supervision.

Care Certificate
Theoretical and practical work-based training or holds academic/NVQ level III qualification.
Previous Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy / Speech and Language or Dietetic Assistant experience.
Demonstrates knowledge of health care delivery
Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the role of the relevant therapy professions

Experience in UK health care system
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
