Salary: £60,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: 2-5 years experience as a Presales Solutions Architect (or similar) working closely with customers in the sales cycle. Background in technical pre-sales support in Managed WAN/LAN Services, ideally with Cisco, Extreme, or Fortinet tech. Proven experience in network design, bespoke customer solutions, and documentation. Knowledge of WAN technologies: Leased Lines, Carrier Ethernet, EFM, xDSL. Familiarity with LAN across DC, core, aggregation, and access layers. Up-to-date skills in SDN, SD-WAN, NFV, and network virtualization. Understanding of Wi-Fi technologies: CAPWAP, WPA, 802.1X, mesh, and controllers. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients. Responsibilities: Partner with Sales & Account teams to understand customer needs, attend meetings and reviews, and provide technical expertise to help close deals. Design tailored LAN & WAN solutions that align with our product set. Support customers throughout the process, offering clear and confident guidance while avoiding unnecessary jargon. Produce professional documentation, such as SOWs, HLDs, and schematics that meet quality standards. Collaborate with Sales, Service Delivery, and Account Management teams to win new business, support renewals, and maintain customer satisfaction. Track and manage activities in our CRM, contributing to a pipeline worth over £1m Gross Margin each year.
