This is a contract role lasting 12 months initially. Applicants must be a sole British National and be eligible for SC clearance.

The Role
You will work as part of a multi-skilled engineering team, collaborating with clients to design, develop, and implement PLC and SCADA application software using Commercially-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products, typically:
* Siemens
* Rockwell Automation
* Schneider Electric
* Wonderware
* Codra
Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing, developing, and implementing PLC and SCADA systems
* Producing design documentation, test plans, and test specifications
* Liaising directly with client representatives
* Delivering control system software development, testing, and peer reviews
* Participating in on-site commissioning activities
Essential Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in PLC/Scada system design and implementation
* Strong client-facing skills and the ability to work in integrated client/contractor teams
* Knowledge of the PLC/Scada system design life cycle
* Previous commissioning experience
* Willingness to travel and work away from home
* Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance
* Full driving licence
Desirable
* Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
* IEC61131 PLC Coding Standards knowledge
* Basic understanding of Cyber Security standards (62443)
* Supervisory or mentoring experience
* Network architecture design skills
* Experience in the nuclear industry
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
