Nightshift premium applicableAs a HGV driver at Terex based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the production of equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.This role involves safely and efficiently transporting materials, components, and equipment between Terex sites, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining full compliance with road safety regulations, company policies, and operational standards. Please note this is a lone working role.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesOperate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) in a safe, legal, and responsible manner at all timesTransport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment between Terex facilities and designated locationsEnsure loads are properly secured and comply with health & safety standardsConduct daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with legal and company requirementsOperate a Forklift truck to load and unload goodsMaintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, manifests, and inspection reportsAdhere to all driving regulations, including tachograph rules, driver hours, and working time directivesLiaise with site personnel, stores teams, and logistics coordinators to ensure efficient loading and unloadingKeep vehicles clean, roadworthy, and presentableReport any incidents, near misses, or delays promptly to managementSupport general yard duties when requiredPlease note this is a lone working roleThis above description is non-exhaustive and there may be additional duties in accordance with the role.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of road transport regulations and compliance requirementsExcellent driving skills with a strong focus on safetyGood organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skillsAttention to detail when completing paperwork and inspectionsProblem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing schedulesQualifications & ExperienceValid HGV Licence (Category C+E as required)Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)Digital Tachograph CardPrevious experience in a similar HGV driving role (preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments for a minimum of 2 years)Experience of inter-site or multi-drop deliveriesAll applicants must demonstrate through their application form how they meet the criteria for the position applied for.
