Maternity Nurse - Mayfair/South of France

A family is looking for a highly experienced maternity nurse to support them with their second child this summer. The position will begin June 25th and will run for three months, with the possibility of continuing until the end of October or mid-November, depending on the family's needs.
The family are based in Mayfair, London, and the role will involve travel to the South of France. The maternity nurse will spend July with the family in London before accompanying them to the South of France from August through to the end of September. During the period abroad, the role will be a live‑in 24‑hour maternity nurse position, providing care and support for the newborn.
While the family are in London, the schedule will be more flexible. Although the maternity nurse will be contracted and compensated on a 24‑hour basis, the family may choose to structure the support as either day or night shifts, depending on the mother's needs. For this reason, they are looking for someone adaptable and comfortable working with a fluid schedule. The role will involve shared care with the mother during the day and sole charge during night shifts.
This will be the mother's second child. Her eldest is two years old and already has a nanny in place. The mother previously had night support with her first baby, but this will be her first time working with a maternity nurse. She is therefore looking for someone with significant experience who can confidently guide and support the early newborn stage. The mother plans to breastfeed, so experience supporting breastfeeding mothers and establishing feeding and sleep routines will be important.
The family are seeking a maternity nurse with approximately 10–15 years of experience who brings a calm, knowledgeable and reassuring presence. Professionalism while on duty is particularly important to the family, especially overnight. They are looking for someone who is able to rest when the baby sleeps while remaining responsive and alert enough to hear and attend to the baby promptly if needed.
A candidate with a paediatric or medical background would be considered a strong advantage, although it is not essential.
