£28,142 - £30,518 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
36 hours per week, Term Time Only
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our Early Years team at Our Lady of Mount Carmel RC Primary School. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and learning of our youngest pupils within a school that values educational excellence, community, and faith.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum with a focus on fostering children’s development and learning.
* Work closely with classroom teachers and other staff to provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
* Assist in planning and implementing activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
* Support the assessment and observation process for EYFS pupils.
* Contribute to maintaining high standards of safeguarding and welfare for all pupils
Required Qualifications and Experience:
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and systems.
* Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
* Commitment to supporting children’s development and well-being.
* A caring and patient approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
* Enthusiasm for continuous professional development and collaborative working.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team within a Catholic school environment.
