£45,000 - £52,000 + Annual Bonus

Irwin and Colton are delighted to announce that we have been engaged to recruit for an Environment and Sustainability Manager with a leading materials manufacturer. This is a newly created role which has the opportunity to shape and implement sustainability initiatives while ensuring compliance with environmental and energy management systems.
Key responsibilities of the Environment and Sustainability Manager:
* Ensuring compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards, including audits and performance reporting.
* Interpret environmental and energy data to support the implementation of management systems and identify trends to drive continuous improvement.
* Work closely with the wider sustainability team to influence and embed sustainable best practice.
* Support site teams, operational teams, customers and suppliers with sustainability related issues.
A successful Environment and Sustainability Manager will have:
* Demonstrable experience working with Environmental and Energy Management Systems.
* A degree (BSc or MSc) in an environmental discipline with a membership to ISEP as a desirable.
* Vast experience in a similar environmental/sustainability role, ideally within the manufacturing space or industrial sector.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
