A successful and well-respected accountancy practice based in Bristol is searching for a Personal Tax Manager to join their team as a key addition as right hand support to the firms directors. You will oversee the delivery of a quality compliance service whilst also delivering wide ranging tax planning and project work as well as developing a team.
Client Details
Based in Bristol the firm acts for wide ranging individuals, HNWIs, Directors of their OMB and corporate clients and other private clients. The firm has a number of directors and around a team of around thirty staff within a more non-hierarchical set up and open door approach, with a good proportion of long serving, loyal staff. The firm acts for very wide-ranging clients across wide ranging industries and turnovers from small sole practitioners through to corporate ltd companies and OMBs up to £50million in turnover, with audit requirements. The firm utilises IRIS and QuickBooks in the main on systems and software.
Description
Joining as Personal Tax Manager based from the firms Bristol offices you will manage the delivery of compliance and tax planning for a wide-ranging client base. You may be hands on with more complex cases, alongside reviewing and managing the wider team, overseeing the delivery of a quality compliance services and work with directors on wide ranging tax planning project work across capital gains tax, inheritance tax and other project work. The role provides an ideal opportunity for the right professional looking to looking to further their career in tax within a long term, independent firm of accountants.
Profile
For this Personal Tax Manager role you may be either CTA and/or, ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified and you may have developed a focused personal tax career within an accountancy practice or specialist tax firm background, with at least four to five years experience or more focused in personal tax. Your experience will have been developed in any mix of larger tier firms, or small/medium, or larger regional accountancy firm background.
Job Offer
