The Role
Working as part of the Pensions Administration Department in providing the provision of cash management services to deliver an efficient and effective service to LCP clients and their members as a member of the Cash Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operation of client bank accounts
2. Updating and maintaining client data
3. Raising of beneficiary and third-party payments
4. Bank reconciliations on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
5. Analysis of bank charges and interest
6. Liaising with banks to verify payments
7. Answer queries from colleagues, partners & clients and 3rd party bodies via the telephone or other communication methods
8. Producing monthly/quarterly or ad hoc income and expenditure reports
9. Assisting with the installation of new clients onto the accounting system
10. Assist with the preparation of mandates
11. Regular review of department safes (cheque books and paying-in books)
12. Assisting accountants with audits to allow accounts to be published within the legally prescribed timescales
13. Prepare management reports for cash management statistics
14. Provide assistance and support with ad-hoc team projects.

Some experience of cash management activity would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be provided
